Ted LeBow

Ted LeBow is an experienced serial entrepreneur committed to financial resilience and helping others achieve business success. His journey began in 1980 with a farm in Idaho, leading to a career managing and owning eleven small businesses. A Cornell graduate with a degree in Business Management, Ted has focused on guiding entrepreneurs to understand how they make a profit and engage their team of people passionately.

In 2024, he merged his firm, Kitchen Table Consultants, with Taste Profit Marketing to form Good Roots, where he serves as CEO. Ted has raised over $60 million for various organizations and has played key roles in regenerative agriculture. He lives in Bala Cynwyd and enjoys woodworking, fly fishing, and time with his family.

Rebecca Frimmer

Rebecca Frimmer is an entrepreneur and educator passionate about advancing organic and sustainable food businesses. With experience gained from running her first company at 18 and holding key roles in food and farm organizations, Rebecca joined Good Roots in 2014. She played a pivotal role in expanding the company’s reach to the West Coast and now serves as a partner and principal consultant, leading training and education initiatives. Rebecca holds an MBA from George Washington University and focuses on business planning, fractional CFO services, and farmer profitability programs. Based in Morro Bay, California, she enjoys surfing, gardening, and spending time with her family.

Kristel Keys Running, M.A.

Kristel Keys Running, M.A., has more than 20 years of marketing experience with a strong focus on sustainable agriculture. Raised on a small farm in southwest Wisconsin, she gained a deep appreciation for the importance of farming. Kristel has crafted growth strategies that boost customer engagement, lead generation, and sales.  Known for her creativity and strategic thinking, Kristel excels in building client relationships and driving results. She holds an M.A. in Business Communications and a B.S. in Communications Technology Management. She enjoys family time, hiking, traveling, and volunteering.

Helen Kollar-McArthur

Helen, a North Carolina native, grew up amidst the tobacco belt and hog farms. She moved to Pennsylvania for her MS in Biobehavioral Health at Penn State, where she developed a passion for sustainable farming, experimenting on her own homestead. Gradually shifting from academia to hands-on work, Helen gained diverse agricultural experience—from general farm labor to managing educational programs at PASA and overseeing operations at a small abattoir. She joined Good Roots in 2019, driven by her passion for organization and evidence-based decision-making. At Good Roots, Helen is the Director of Services Delivery & Talent. She oversees the development and refinement of all areas of our services and the processes used to carry out our work with consistent quality and integrity. She also manages all aspects of work life, ensuring our team continues to evolve and expand in a way that nourishes individuals’ professional ambitions in an environment of empowerment and empathy.

Heather Lyons

Heather’s deep respect for the ecosystem and a strong sense of responsibility guide her work in accounting and finance, where she empowers those who steward our food system. Her leadership in the Snohomish County 4-H Horse Program helped her develop a commitment to community, support, and self-motivation. After earning her CPA license, Heather managed complex financial systems in the public sector and played a key role in launching a sustainability-driven food hub. Now, as the director of finance & operations and member of a team of farm accounting specialists at Good Roots, she combines her extensive expertise and passion to  strengthen a food system that better serves both growers and eaters.

Dustin Miller

Dustin brings over 15 years of experience in talent and people, with a passion for building values-driven cultures and high-performing teams in distributed, impact-focused environments.

He’s worked across a wide range of industries – from educational nonprofits to tech startups – always with a focus on driving impact through intentional growth, aligning people strategies with operational goals, scaling systems, and fostering environments where people are engaged, enabled, and empowered.

Dustin believes that an organization’s people are truly its greatest asset and with the right culture and tools in place, organizations can benefit from the synergy and talent that is created when you bring passionate people together around a similar cause or vision.

He’s a proud University of Georgia and Ohio University alum, and now lives in sunny Orlando, Florida with his husband and daughter. When he’s not working, you’ll find him reading, traveling, or soaking up Florida’s endless summer. 

Lindsey Sorah

Lindsey’s passion for agriculture was inspired by her grandparents’ farming roots in Southern Illinois. She revived this legacy by starting her own farm, which grew from a small vegetable and flower operation into a 10+ acre enterprise. Before farming, Lindsey supported franchisees in launching businesses and gaining skills in bookkeeping, management, and marketing. As part of Good Roots, she helps others succeed in sustainable agriculture through business consulting and marketing. Living near Athens, Georgia, she enjoys family time, playing music by the firepit, and kayaking on her pond.

Andrea Wright

Andrea grew up west of Washington, D.C., surrounded by farms, and developed a love for horses early on. In her teens, she worked at a horse boarding farm and eventually got her own horse. After college, she became a computer consultant at a local accounting firm, supporting clients with their bookkeeping. Her career expanded as she worked in accounting roles for various small businesses. In 2008, she ran a 30-acre horse boarding facility while working part-time as a Fractional Controller. Later, she became Finance Director for a nonprofit, and in 2024, joined Good Roots as Director of Accounting.

David Alvarez

David is a passionate advocate for sustainable agriculture with a diverse background in marketing, sales, and farming. He studied Creative Writing and Film Studies at USC, where he developed a love for photography and organic agriculture. Through his experiences working on WWOOF farms, David deepened his commitment to bridging the gap between commerce and sustainability. With prior roles at Moon Valley Organics, Viva Farms, and Wright Bros Farm, he gained hands-on experience in media coordination, sales, CSA management, communications, and farming. At Good Roots, he leverages his knowledge to support farm and food businesses. In his free time, he enjoys gardening, cooking, and collecting rare colognes and mezcal.

Jackson Baker

Jackson Baker is a Vermont native with a passion for food systems, sustainability, and storytelling. He earned both his MBA in Sustainable Innovation and BA in English from the University of Vermont, where he developed a strong foundation in creative communication and completed a thesis on global food cultures. Jackson’s hands-on experience in the culinary arts, food consulting, and reporting reflects a deep interest in the intersection of culture, agriculture, and business. As a former coach, he thrives on helping others succeed and fostering meaningful connections between people and the food they consume. In his free time, Jackson enjoys reading, writing, baking, and coaching track and field.

Remy Barbiero

Remy originally studied environmental science and worked in sustainability with waste
management and food systems. He also spent a summer on a small, fruit and vegetable farm.
He shifted to accounting and after receiving certificates in bookkeeping and payroll, he went to
work performing bookkeeping in the landscaping industry.

Remy lives in Sonoma County CA, and in his free time, he enjoys traveling, outdoor activities,
playing games with friends, eating great food, and spending time with his partner and two dogs.

Ada Broussard

Ada Broussard is a farm marketing specialist with a broad skill set. Her childhood in South Louisiana and studies in Austin, TX, and Jerusalem fueled her passion for regional foodways and agriculture. With over seven years of marketing experience at one of the largest CSA farms in the U.S., Ada excels in copywriting, design, and social media. She co-founded Club Home Made, a Central Texas meal prep service connecting consumers with local producers. Based in the Texas Hill Country, Ada enjoys cooking, hiking, and crafting alongside her partner, dogs, goats, and cattle.

Jaclyn Davis

Jaclyn is an accounting professional with a background in culinary arts and small business development, rooted in a commitment to building community and connections. She grew up on a 7-acre hobby farm in northern Virginia, where her family raised and grew a majority of their own food. After college, she worked at various resorts and hotels with an emphasis on farm-to-table experiences, which fueled her passion for gardening and preserving her summer harvest. Jaclyn lives in central Ohio with her family and ever-growing variety of pets. In her free time, she enjoys rock climbing, skiing, one wheeling, and planning her next adventure outdoors.

Grace Debbeler

Grace, a Cincinnati native, earned her Environmental Engineering degree from The Ohio State University. She started her career in environmental research and assessment with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service before her home garden sparked a passion for sustainable agriculture. This led her to Taos, NM, and eventually to Nevada City, CA, where she managed an 800-member CSA at Mountain Bounty Farm. Grace also serves on the Board of Directors at Sierra Harvest, promoting local produce. Her desire to work with a larger group of farmers and share her experiences led her to join Good Roots. In her free time, she enjoys outdoor activities, ceramics, reading, and gardening.

Evan Driscoll

Evan Driscoll has over a decade of experience in local food systems and small business development. He founded Sasquatch Acre, a diversified farm in Portland, OR, and later managed Green Gate Farms in Austin, TX. His work expanded into distribution and sales at Sustainable Food Center and procurement at Central Texas Food Bank. Evan also served as Director of Operations for Foodshed Investors and Executive Director of Texas Farmers Market. At Good Roots, he specializes in business development, financial analysis, and fundraising readiness. Evan is active in his community and enjoys archery, hiking, and gardening in Austin, TX.

Megan Erickson

Megan Erickson grew up working alongside her family on their beef farm in southern Wisconsin, a place that shaped her love for good food and the people who raise it. That foundation has guided her ever since, both personally and professionally.

Before joining Good Roots, Megan served as General Manager of a USDA-inspected meat processing facility, where she led operations, financial management, and sales. She also plays an active role in her family’s direct-to-consumer beef business, giving her firsthand insight into the realities of running a farm, managing inventory, and serving customers.

Megan is passionate about helping farm and food entrepreneurs strengthen and grow their operations profitably. Having worked on both sides of the meat supply chain—from processing to direct sales—she understands the complexities farmers and processors face and meets clients where they are, offering practical, grounded support. At Good Roots, she combines her business acumen with hands-on agricultural experience to help clients find clarity in their numbers, confidence in their decisions, and purpose in their work. When she’s not working, she enjoys gardening, cooking, and spending time on the farm with her husband and daughters.

Caroline Freeman

Caroline has spent over 10 years working in the local food system, from diversified vegetable farming to combating food insecurity and managing a vineyard and winery. Throughout her journey, one constant has been the importance of building strong relationships. Recognizing that successful businesses thrive within a network of these relationships, Caroline has shifted her focus from growing food to supporting businesses. Through consulting at Good Roots, she offers clarity and insight with financial analysis, helping businesses better position themselves to positively impact their communities through food.

Meagan Gallagher

As a Louisiana native, Meagan knows good food and what it can do for community, it’s a part of her DNA. After earning her communications degree from LSU she started her career in Austin, Texas as a marketing generalist. The vibrant food scene deepened her passion for sustainable food. This led her to Chiang Mai, Thailand and eventually back to her home state to become the marketing manager of Mahaffey Farms. After successfully moving the farm’s operations online just before the pandemic, she found her specialty: handling the digital heavy lifting so producers can focus on what they do best. She’s got over a decade of experience in marketing and her goal is to provide the tools necessary for sustainable businesses to thrive in a modern world. Meagan enjoys hiking, seeing live music, cooking, and being outdoors with her daughter and husband.

Sherry Gallo

Sherry grew up in the South, where having a garden was simply part of everyday life. Her early connection to growing things stayed with her as she pursued a degree in finance. Her career path took her to Oregon, Hawaii, and eventually to Florida, where she now lives with her husband and their schnauzer.

Sherry has held financial leadership roles across small businesses, nonprofits, and national organizations. She values working with mission-driven and community-focused enterprises.

When she’s not working, Sherry can be found tending her tomatoes, taking her dog for a walk, or enjoying a swim at the pool.

Sarah Hyde

Sarah is passionate about helping clients manage their businesses through organized bookkeeping and financial statements. With 10 years of farming experience, she understands the challenges faced by producers and food business owners. Sarah’s journey began in northern Arizona, where she and her husband, Matt, operated Rabbit Run Farm. Later, as Farm Manager at Hassayampa Vineyard and Farm, she oversaw diverse operations, including a vineyard and cheese creamery, while managing bookkeeping. She holds a B.A. in Environmental Studies from Prescott College and a Bookkeeping Certificate from Yavapai College. Now in Jordan, Minnesota, she enjoys gardening, learning about native plants, and printmaking.

Alexis Jacobsen

Alexis grew up in Iowa and initially distanced herself from agriculture by attending NYU, where she studied French and Food Studies. Reconnecting with her roots, she now combines her passions for farming and creative leadership. She supports creative solopreneurs and side hustlers with business strategies while operating a Maine farmstand showcasing her flowers and local goods.

Through her work with Good Roots, Alexis enjoys exploring new business ventures and helping farmers turn their operations into sustainable businesses. Based in St. George, Maine, she thrives on building community, spending time with her family, and at the stables.

Amira Jensen

Amira is a marketing professional with a background in journalism, food writing and content strategy. In her career, she’s held hundreds of conversations with farmers to gain a clear picture of the industry landscape and the unique challenges it faces. During her seven years in restaurant marketing, Amira nurtured relationships with area farms that deepened her understanding of local food systems and sustainable practices. She enjoys working with brands who care about quality in all aspects of the business and have a mission that aligns with her own—to create meaningful connections and enrich people’s lives.

At Good Roots, Amira oversees the company’s internal marketing strategy and execution, including web, email, social media, and in-person engagements.

Lucas Maholick

Lucas is a Marketing Specialist at Good Roots with a passion for purpose-driven marketing, community-focused growth, and authentic brand storytelling. He supports marketing initiatives that highlight Good Roots’ commitment to sustainability, transparency, and making fresh, local food more accessible. With a background in digital marketing, analytics, and content strategy, he enjoys turning data and insights into meaningful campaigns that build trust and long-term impact.

Lindsey McDonnell

Lindsey’s passion for business ownership combined with the local food movement led her to become the general manager and co-owner of Kriemhild Dairy Farms, where she built a successful grass-fed dairy business. For eight years, she managed all aspects of the company, from production to sales, before shifting her focus to a smaller-scale operation. In 2018, she founded Catalpa Flower Farm, growing specialty cut flowers, while also doing consulting for food and value-added businesses. In December 2021, Lindsey joined Good Roots, where she continues to support farm and food entrepreneurs with financial planning. She continues to grow Catalpa Flower Farm selling specialty cut flowers through her farm stand and flower CSA.

Rachel Morgan

Rachel Morgan grew up on a 5-acre organic farm in southern Michigan, where her family cultivated produce for local restaurants and farmers’ markets. This background fueled her passion for sustainable food systems. With over ten years of experience in hospitality and restaurant technology, Rachel specializes in streamlining processes and managing complex projects. As the Service Delivery Operations Manager at Good Roots, she leverages her hands-on agricultural knowledge and professional expertise to help farm and food businesses thrive. Outside of work, Rachel enjoys traveling, exploring local food scenes, and getting her hands dirty in the garden.

Mika Mosier

Mika Mosier is an accounting professional with an eclectic, numbers-driven background spanning fractional controller work, government contracting, staffing agencies, ticket brokers, manufacturing, and grant reporting. She loves accounting because every transaction tells a story, moving through the P&L and balance sheet in ways that impact people, from project outcomes to bonus pools. Mika holds an associate degree in accounting and is pursuing her bachelor’s.

At Good Roots, Mika supports internal financial processes and accounting functions that help the team scale with strong foundations. Based in Southern Indiana, Mika is part owner of her family’s five-generation corn and soybean farm. Outside of work, she enjoys reading across genres (especially fantasy and historical fiction) karaoke, travel, and time with family and friends.

Taylor Muglia

Taylor Muglia was raised by an airplane mechanic and a teacher, which imparted both a strong sense of curiosity and a passion for education from a young age. Though she didn’t grow up in agriculture, she discovered the wonders of soil ecology while working on a commercial compost operation in college. Taylor went on to apprentice on family farms and later launched her own farm business while supporting other beginning ranchers through her work at Quivira Coalition. As a Bookkeeping Specialist at Good Roots, Taylor is dedicated to helping farm and food businesses thrive ecologically, socially, and financially. She currently lives at a wedding venue with a flower/vegetable farm in Lyons, CO.

Julia Myhre

Julia is passionate about transforming research into compelling stories and creating user-friendly web pages. Growing up in rural western Uganda, she learned the value of farming and relying on community early on. She earned a BA in Cultural and Environmental Studies from Duke University in 2018, gaining hands-on experience at the Duke farm. After graduation, she worked at NGP Farm in Greensboro for several years, ending up as their farm manager. To bridge the gap between business and farming, she pursued an MBA at the University of Utah and now contributes to the food & farming community through her role at Good Roots. Julia enjoys biking, baking, quilting, hiking, reading and training her pup, Basil.

Gibson Rade

Gibson Rade grew up on Whipstone Farm, a produce and flower farm in Northern Arizona. On weekends, she spent time at the Prescott Farmers Market, selling homemade dog cookies, vegetables from her small garden, and pot-bellied pigs. As an adult, Gibson served on the Prescott Farmers Market Executive Board and was the administrator of the family farm. There, Good Roots consulted in her management of Whipstone’s CSA, bookkeeping system, and wholesale accounts.

Gibson graduated from Northern Arizona University with a bachelor’s degree in Public Administration. She has experience as the administrative assistant to her County’s Chief Adult Probation Officer and College Deans of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University’s Prescott Campus. At Good Roots, Gibson is the Executive Assistant to the Co-CEOs, Noah and Ted, and is a Finance and Operations Manager behind the daily operations of Good Roots. 

Mira Shahan

Mira brings a deep passion for growing things and a strong background in accounting and small business consulting to Good Roots. Throughout her career, she has been drawn to using data to solve challenges and improve operations across various industries. Her love for agriculture blossomed through years of volunteering and working on urban and family farms, where she discovered the joy of working the land. At Good Roots, Mira combines these two passions, helping clients achieve financial clarity and sustainability so they can focus on what they do best. Outside of work, you’ll still find her in her garden or exploring the local farmer’s market.

Jackie Wood

Jackie has been immersed in regional agriculture across New York State for over a decade. Building on her foundation at Empire Farm Brewery and Beak & Skiff Apple Farms, she launched her own consulting business in 2020, honing her skills in business development and project management. Alongside providing technical support to farmers and food entrepreneurs, Jackie remained hands-on, managing a small farm operation, a seasonal farmers market, and a vegetable CSA. She takes a values-based approach, combining effective communication and strategic insights to guide clients in identifying the most supportive next steps for their business and long-term goals. In her free time, she enjoys being outdoors, especially in the garden while pursuing her interests in floral design.

Lee Germeroth

Lee has a passion for entrepreneurship and helping grow small businesses. He has a diverse background ranging from commercial photography, social media marketing, web design to his specialty, search engine optimization (SEO). He has a proven track record of taking websites from zero organic search traffic to having a consistent month over month growth.

Growing your specialty food business is a marathon and not a sprint, and we will build you a solid SEO foundation that you can continue to build and grow upon sustainably.

Lee regularly gives talks and presentations to the local business communities, is an instructor for DMC Seacoast and taught Marketing classes at Keene State College. In his free time, Lee loves to travel, go on adventures, explore the world for all of its sights, sounds, and tastes!

Brenda Meyer

Brenda began her Human Resources career in corporate recruiting and generalist positions over 15 years ago. She has spent the last decade in a consulting role helping small businesses create and organize their HR processes to scale for growth. She loves working with clients to help them find the right people approach to help their businesses thrive.

She holds an MBA in Human Resources Management and Accounting, as well as the SPHR and HCS certifications. Her interest in farming and sustainable food started after she moved to a one-acre homestead in south-central Texas with her husband and son in 2022. In her free time, she enjoys family time, homeschools her son, bakes sourdough bread, attempts gardening, and spends time with their chickens (and tolerates the ducks!)

Logan Samperi

Logan is a husband and dad of two who has spent the past 14 years running a marketing agency focused on helping online brands grow with clarity and purpose. After earning his degree from Texas A&M in 2012, he jumped straight into entrepreneurship and has been working hands-on with business owners ever since—bringing a practical, client-first approach to e-commerce and digital marketing.

Outside of work, Logan is a proud Houston sports fan, musician, and avid traveler. He’s currently traveling the United States with his family, embracing a season of adventure along the way.
